We want to provide an update on an exposure to COVID-19 within our Claridge Court community. We learned Sunday, August 2nd, that one of our team members tested positive for the virus. By way of recap, there are two team member cases of the virus and both are self-isolating at home with the support of our Human Resources team.

There are no active resident cases of COVID-19 in our community at this time.

We understand that you have concerns about COVID-19 and the current situation in our community, and many of you have questions. Please know we continue in our commitment to protect the health and safety of our residents and team members. Our team continues to be proactive in mitigating the risk of further exposure to the virus within our community.

As a reminder, Lifespace and Claridge Court are continuing to follow heightened infection control guidelines and we highly encourage residents to only leave the community for essential needs like groceries or critical medical appointments. Residents and team members are encouraged to practice social distancing and wear a mask or face covering when you interact with others in public settings. Proper hand hygiene including handwashing and the use of alcohol-based hand sanitizers are essential to preventing the spread of the virus. As we have done throughout the last several weeks, we will provide regular updates about our efforts to maintain a safe and healthy community.

We appreciate your support and continued adherence to the protocols we have implemented to protect our residents and team members. If you have any questions or concerns, please contact the Claridge Court management team.

Thank you
